The xOracle Universe game is set 500 years after an unknown apocalypse forces the surviving human population underground. After many generations cut off from the surface, results from probes sent above proved promising and scouts found the area around the complex you were born in to be habitable, as well as being rich in resources.
You are a citizen of this underground society sent up to the surface to rebuild civilization. Gathering resources, crafting, refining, building, exploring, organizing, producing, or even reproducing, how you contribute to the rebuild is up to you.
As you and your fellow explorers gain experience in different fields and expand out into the world, artifacts of life before the "Great Impact" and clues from that time begin to emerge and tell a very peculiar story...

Tokens and Airdrop Schedule
The backbone of the xOracle economy will be powered by Ripple (XRP) with tokens paired to XRP, intends to operate on an XRP Federated Sidechain to provide a ledger-friendly secondary marketplace, and intends to use NFT capabilities for upgradable characters, equipment, land rights, structures, interactable objects and more within the game, utilizing RNG capabilities for varying stats on these items when minted.
There are 8 core tokens to be deployed for a variety of uses in the xOracle Universe game. Meanwhile, IOU (I Owe yoU) tokens are available that can be redeemed for the functional token and NFT equivalents at differing rates (To Be Announced), and NFTs used in the xOracle Universe when the mainnet is live for early interested parties to support project development and gauge public interest. The vast majority of the supply of these IOUs will be airdropped to trustlines when certain milestones are reached. This is to provide a functional internal item economy within the game on day 0 of the mainnet. To maintain the integrity of the early-game and fairness for early interested parties, XRPLVerify will be used to exclude botted and farmed trustlines as well as any wallets relating to criminal activity according to the https://xrplorer.com/ database.

Token Usage
Raw Materials come in 5 strength levels and several different forms such as wood, stone, mineral ore, and liquids. Raw materials are used for crafting and upgrading equipment, objects, and structures. They can also be refined into Processed Goods.
Ingredients are a variety of organic and inorganic materials mostly used to cook food that provide temporary and permanent boosts to production, skills, and stats. They are rarely used in crafting too.
Processed Goods come in 5 strength levels created from consuming raw materials and found while exploring. They are required to make and upgrade complex structures, more efficient equipment, different interactable objects, and more.
Neoplasmin is mostly used in the upgrading system and provides benefits to RNG factors when crafting and upgrading. It can also be used to make DNA and small amounts are used in the character customization process.
Recycle Receipts are generated when users voluntarily burn non-Recycle Receipt and non-xOracle Global Governance tokens and NFTs at processing facilities (a craftable object that anyone can use when placed on your land). They can be redeemed for Seasonal Equipment, NFTs, and skins that provide output and stat boosts, some are solely cosmetic. They are rarely used in crafting.
DNA, alongside Neoplasmin, is used exclusively in character NFT creation, upgrading and experience boosts.
Land Deed Tokens are exchanged for Land Deeds, NFTs that grant passive income from other users generating active income on your plot of land. Land size is measured in units. There are 3 levels of Land Deeds, 1x1 (1 unit), 2x2 (4 units), and 3x3 (9 units). The location of the Land Deed on the map is permanent, ownership of that plot can be transferred or sold. All objects and structures belonging to you on your plot of land can be returned to your wallet if the underlying Land Deed is transferred or sold, or you can leave them there to continue receiving use revenue.
xOracle Global Governance tokens have a fixed supply of 100 which represents the percentage of vote power in matters of governance with existing and new xOracle Universe content and variables.

Graphics
In the testnet and possibly in early mainnet releases, xOracle will be a simple browser game with basic graphics but is planned to be an immersive, fully explorable 3D world before completion of the full service.

Gameplay
The gameplay is mostly semi-idle but has active content as well. You must have the xOracle Universe website or app open to earn while playing.
As a new player with no initial investment, you can explore the landscape until you find a Level 1 resource node. Level 1 Raw Materials can be extracted with no skills and equipment, albeit slower than being geared up. Level 2 Resources produces very little without Level 1 equipment and Level 3 Resources have nearly no output without sufficient equipment. You receive Raw Materials and occasionally some Neoplasmin.
Solve a captcha before it disappears for a temporary boost in token output. If you miss too many captchas (~3 hours worth, the exact threshold is randomized from the last successful captcha) you will receive a slight AFK debuff with reduced drop rates. After ~24 hours of missed captchas, you will stop receiving Neoplasmin and have a stronger AFK debuff. If too many captchas are failed, your wallet will receive the Botting Debuff until the human activity is detected again. You will still be able to play if you use bots in the xOracle Universe, the debuffs are in place to protect the integrity of the game for human players and incentivizes genuine playtime. You can then sell Raw Materials and Neoplasmin in the Sidechain Marketplace for XRP or xOracle Global Governance tokens, recycle them for Recycle Receipts or use them for crafting, upgrading, or refining.
If you choose to craft or refine the Raw Materials, find either a Crafting Workshop or Processing Facility (Furnace for metals, Workbench for woods, etc.) on an owned plot of land. The object owner receives a service fee for usage, and the Land Owner may choose to implement a Tax on object owners benefitting from their land. Taxes will be locked for a period determined by the Land Owner, the tax amount and tax lock will be publicly available information. In Freelands (Land units with no owner) object owners are not taxed as the land is unclaimed. Object owners are free to redeem their objects at any time and place them elsewhere. If the object is removed mid-action by the owner (rude), the person using the object will not lose their tokens, however, the Processed Goods are not created either.
The Neoplasmin can be used at crafting workshops, Laboratories, or Altars for different uses. At Workshops, when adding Neoplasmin, you receive better randomized base stats on your equipment NFTs and are more likely to succeed higher level upgrades. In Laboratories, Neoplasmin can be synthesized into DNA. Altars can be used to enchant existing items with +% stat buffs and +x per level buffs for example and cosmetic effects.
The DNA created can be used to create a Character NFT. Wallets with active Character slots have a randomized avatar and randomized stats. Players without an active Character slot have an NPC avatar. Neoplasmin can be used to preference certain stats and skills but require a lot of Neoplasmin to have a 100% strike rate of the stats and avatar you want.
By this stage, a new player with ZERO investment can begin to earn more tokens over time and own a few NFTs as we believe in-game progress and long-term game time must be rewarded without jeopardizing the in-game economy while providing access to anyone with a device and an internet connection regardless of their real-world situation.

In a worst-case scenario, if required amendments are not approved, we may consider other chains to develop on and the IOUs on the XRP Ledger would still be redeemable for their respective functional tokens on the other chains.
